We are still alive!!

I know I have been MIA with this blog. Tripp and I put our house on the market the begining of July and it sold within 4 days. We packed everything up and moved into a rental house (where there is NO internet). So I have come to Books A Million to connect to the world and update my iphone! We have found a house in Collinsville, Ms (outskirts of Meridian) and have a contract on it. We are hoping and praying to close and be in by the first of October. Would post pictures but they are on my camera and I don't have the cord with me!

Now...for BIGGER news...we are expecting our second baby in April!! Emma is going to be a big sister!!! YAY!!! We are so excited and ready to be in our own house!!

School has started and we are getting in our routine...back to work after an awesome summer!!

Emma's birthday/party is this weekend. I can't believe she is 2 already!! She is such a little monkey. Happy early birthday Emma!! We love you!!

Well I just wanted to update everyone as to why I haven't posted any new pictures or stories!! Hopefully we will be permanantly connected in our new house soon!! Love to all!!!!

4th of July and Happy Birthday Aunt Amanda and Aunt Lynn

We went down to Gulfport for the 4th of July/Aunt Amanda's 50th Birthday/Aunt Lynn's Birthday!! We had such a fun time...we stayed in a condo with mom, Lynn, Daniel, and HK and it was perfect for us. Emma and Hannah Kate played all weekend! Bart, Vivian, and Elise Claire stayed right below us and Aunt Amanda and all the Buckley's were down below also. We took all the girls to the Lynn Meadows Children's Museum and they had the BEST time. It was so much fun for kids their age...they could touch EVERYTHING along with dress up!! See pictures! We also spent lots of time at Uncle Peter and Aunt Kaye's house. They were very gracious in opening their home to so many children!! We got to spend a great deal of time visiting and eating....I think we ate cake at every gathering....and then on the 4th everyone gathered on our balcony to see ALL of the fireworks. From our balcony, you could see Gulfports, Biloxis, and all in between....a great time was had by all!!! For more pictures....see my facebook page!!

Ohh Happy Day!!

One of my great friends from high school got married this past month. Luckily we were able to go to her beautiful wedding! She is such a wonderful person and I was honored to share such a special day with her!! Congratulations Meagan and Jonathan. Here are some pictures from the wedding!

Image 4 Photography

These are pictures we took with Katie Richard this past week. Katie is my best friend from home and she is an amazing photographer! She owns Image 4 Photography and does an outstanding job. This is only a few....it was hot and Emma got tired of "showing me her teeth" quickly. Katie worked wonderfully with her and captured some beautiful shots!! Anyone needing any type of photography...I highly recommend her!!

On Blueberry Hill!!

WOW!! What a fun couple of days we have had! Aunt Lynn (+ baby hooker) and Hannah Kate came and spent last night with us. We have had so much fun! We went this morning to Johnson's Blueberry Farm and picked a gallon of blueberries! The girls have had the best time having a playmate all the time! Emma loves to copy EVERYTHING Hannah Kate does.....This morning the girls were being silly and dancing around with pants on their heads!! See pictures...they laughed so hard it was fun to watch!! Can't wait to see the entire family and hang out with the Hookers more on the 4th!!!

First I have to tell you that Meridian has elected Cheri Barry our first woman mayor!! Tripp and I are huge Cheri Barry supporters and we were so excited to help her, support her, and be there for her victory! It was such an exciting night! It came down to the last wire...after all the electronic votes were in she won by 114 votes and there were 600 absentee ballots to be counted....so after an all night couting party and a recount called by her opponent she ended up winning by about 300 votes!! We are so proud of her. Here are some pictures of her campaign and the fuzzy one is from her election result party (all I had was my iphone)!!

Ok...so it has been a long time....here I am to update you on what has been going on at our household. School has officially ended and summer has began. I am going to teach summer school in the mornings for about 3 weeks. Tripp, Emma, and I went to the beach last weekend with some wonderful friends and had an absolute BLAST!! We didn't want to come home! This week I am cleaning and trying to get my house put back together after our trip. Here are some pictures!!
