Since we are 1 we HAVE just begun!!

WOW!!! What a weekend... Friday was Emma's 1st birthday. My sister Lynn and her daughter Hannah Kate came in Friday night and Gigi and Granddaddy came in BRIGHT and early saturday morning (by bright I mean they were in Meridian at 6). We started our morning off with a great breakfast at the Cracker Barrel and then off to feed the ducks at Bonita Lakes. This is a tale in its own and in a few days check back because my sister has a HILARIOUS video of my dad getting nipped by a duck and I will stay on her to post. After we fed the ducks we went to the playground in the mall which is wonderful because the entire thing, including the steps and slides, is some type of soft foam (Perfect for babies). We all played..even Granddaddy! When we left the mall we came back home to feed babies, put them down for a nap, and get everything ready for the party. While the babies were napping Lynn and I made and decorated the cakes and loaded vehicles. When the babies woke up we all took showers, ran and got balloons, and went to the party!!
The party was fabulous. We had it at Planet Playground here in Meridian. I also bought a bubble machine which was a ton of fun for the kids. Tripp grilled hot dogs and we had chips and rotel (along with cake and ice cream). Emma loved the cake and had the best time playing in it! We had to strip her down and bathe her under the faucet afterwards. She had green icing from head to toe! We made the cake for everyone a caterpilar and she had a baby one! It was a ton of fun! We had so many friends there....thanks to all that came...you really made it a special day!! After the cake we opened presents. This was great...Emma had so much fun and she even said "Thank you" and "I love you" although you had to listen close!! Thanks to all who helped with everything!
